First Case!




93 year old caucasian female with no visual complaints. Two images showing 1.5 years of follow-up.

What has changed since the first picture (right)?

(Hint: read about differentiating choroidal nevus from melanoma)

  1. It looks like there are fewer vessels from the disk. Is that black spot a hemorrhage? It looks basically the same to me (maybe a little less white). Cup/Disk is about the same.
    Anyone else?

  2. Remember, the image to the right is the original. the differences in vessels is likely an artifact of the camera focus. Differences can be very subtle.
